Education Programs

Our main goal as educators is to introduce basic acting techniques, but more importantly, to express and explain the significance of working together as a group. We want to demonstrate that everyone is important to making a show or a class a success. For us, it's not about the product; it's about the process. Using well-known books as a vehicle to introduce theater games and exercises, each class will come up with their interpretation of the stories.

Castles and Monsters

A world premiere original show written by TTP teacher and technical director Keith Anctil!  In this two week production camp, a group of kids find a vintage Castles and Monsters game in an old bookstore. It looks super cool! But when the kids set up the board and start rolling the dice, the game comes to life! Part Jumanji and part DnD, they have to find a way to put  the mischief-making heroes, villains and monsters ‘back in the box’ before anyone gets hurt and before the kids get in trouble!  Campers will help design costumes, props and the set in this production class. This production camp will culminate in three public performances at the end of the session.
